✓ 5-18h battery life ✓ Powerful sound (120 dB) ✓ Portable ✓ Bluetooth | Light effects | Connections: AUX, jack & Bluetooth.
The JBL Partybox 310 is a bestseller among party speakers with an integrated light show. With 240 watts of power, 18 hours of battery life, IPX4 splash protection, and a telescopic handle with wheels, it is designed for house parties, pool parties, and mobile DJ sets. Its bass-heavy sound makes it particularly popular with younger audiences. Unlike the EON One Compact or Bose S1 Pro, the focus here is not on neutral sound for speech and acoustic guitar, but on maximum party fun. Dynamic light effects synchronize automatically to the beat, the bass is significantly boosted, and you can control the sound, lights, and karaoke functions from your smartphone using the JBL Partybox app.

What is the difference between the Partybox 310 and 320?
The Partybox 320 is the direct successor to the 310 (released May 2024). Key differences:
Both have 240 W of power and 18 hours of battery life. The 310 is more affordable, while the 320 is more future-proof due to the swappable battery.
How loud is the Partybox 310 really?
The Partybox 310 is designed as a party speaker and effortlessly fills rooms with up to 80 to 100 people. The sound is bass-heavy and punchy, ideal for dance music, hip-hop, and EDM.
For quieter events like conferences or singer-songwriter performances, it is overpowered and the sound is too bass-heavy. A Bose S1 Pro or JBL EON One Compact would be the better choice there.
Does the Partybox work outdoors?
Yes, thanks to its IPX4 rating, it can withstand splashes, light rain, and pool water. For longer outdoor events in showery weather, we still recommend using a gazebo or umbrella.
18 hours of battery operation makes it ideal for the garden, beach, or camping. With the integrated wheels and telescopic handle, you can move it like a trolley even over unpaved paths.
Can I use it for karaoke?
Yes, the Partybox 310 is explicitly suitable for karaoke:
You will also need a dynamic microphone (such as a Shure SM58) and a karaoke source like YouTube or a karaoke app.
Can two Partyboxes be paired?
Yes, two JBL PartyBox 310 speakers can be wirelessly paired as a stereo set using True Wireless Stereo (TWS). You can assign the left channel to one speaker and the right to the other via the JBL PartyBox app.
You can also rent two PartyBox 310s at the same time from Renty. Please note: A PartyBox 310 can only be paired with another PartyBox 310, not with the newer 320 or other JBL models.
How long does the battery last at full volume?
JBL specifies 18 hours at medium volume. At full volume with the light show active, this is reduced to approximately 6 to 8 hours.
Since the 310's battery is built-in (unlike the swappable one in the Stage 320), you should have a power outlet nearby for longer outdoor events or plan your event for 6 to 8 hours of full-load operation. In an emergency, the speaker continues to charge while plugged in.
