Which event technology provider is right for you?

When you're looking for equipment for a wedding, a corporate event, or a private party, you're quickly faced with the question: Where is the best place to rent? The options range from the small local rental shop around the corner to large, nationwide brokerage platforms and standardized full-service providers like Renty.

But the differences are often in the details. A low daily rate at first glance doesn't always mean you'll pay the least in the end or have the least amount of hassle.

What really matters when renting event technology:

• Booking Process:Do you have to send a non-binding inquiry and wait for a quote, or can you book the equipment immediately and definitively?
• Hidden Costs & Security Deposit:Are there high security deposits, insurance fees, or unclear taxes added to the rental price?
• Cancellation Policy:What happens if your event is cancelled at short notice? Is there a fair, tiered cancellation policy, or are you hit with high cancellation fees right away?
• Support & Reliability:Who is your actual contractual partner if a cable goes missing or a speaker fails over the weekend?
