Renty rents out lighting technology for parties, weddings, and corporate events starting at €14.90 per day: party lights for the dance floor, ambient lighting for walls and decor, spotlights for stages and facades, moving heads, and complete lighting systems.
Book party lights and lighting effects, ambient lighting, LED spotlights for stage lighting, moving heads, and complete lighting systems by the day—online and with real-time availability before you book. Our range features LED technology for indoor events and outdoor gatherings of up to approximately 500 guests, from garden parties, corporate events, and trade fairs to small light shows.
The rental process is entirely online. You can pick up your equipment for free and receive a briefing; delivery and setup are also available upon request. You can book lighting and sound as a complete event technology package: find sound systems and DJ equipment under Sound Technology, and fog machines for added atmosphere under Effects Technology. You can find out how the booking process works in our rental guide.
Three questions about the occasion, venue, and desired effect, and you'll know exactly which lighting category suits your event. The results will lead you to the right category, where you can see all the equipment in our inventory that is available for your date.
Lighting and effects are divided into three categories. Behind each name is a page with all available devices, prices, and availability at your location.
Spotlights bathe walls and ceilings in color, while moving heads and light effects bring movement to the dance floor. For locations without power outlets, we offer battery-powered spotlights that require no cables at all. All of this can be found under Lighting Equipment, along with strobes, blacklights, and mirror balls.
Without fog, light beams and lasers are barely visible in the air. A fog machine emits short, dense bursts; a hazer fills the entire room with a fine mist; and low-lying fog stays just above the floor, perfect for the first dance. Check with your venue beforehand to see if their smoke detectors react to fog. All devices are listed under Fog Machines.
Bubbles, artificial snow, foam, confetti, and cold sparks highlight a specific moment, such as the grand entrance or a midnight performance. You can find these devices under Special Effects.
Simple spotlights run automatically via remote control or music mode. If you want to control multiple devices in sync, add a DMX controller from our lighting range. Our video tutorials show you how to set up fog machines, ambient lighting, and disco balls. Sound and light combined as a single item can be found under Complete Packages.
The rental price starts at €14.90 per day for an LED spotlight. Ambient lighting starts at €29.90, party lighting at €19.90, moving heads at €24.90 per unit, and a complete lighting system at €99. A rental day is a full 24 hours from pickup or delivery; each additional day costs 15% of the base price.
The three items available at almost all locations cost €29.90 for the Starburst and the ambient lighting set, and €39.90 for the light tube set. The combination of a Starburst and two ambient lighting sets for a room therefore costs €89.70 for one day. All prices include VAT and insurance; the full pricing policy can be found under Prices.
You pick up the equipment from the location in your city and set it up yourself. Everything is prepared for plug-and-play, and there is a video tutorial for every device.

We bring the equipment to your venue and pick it up again after the event. You can handle the connection and setup yourself; every device is prepared for it.

We set up the equipment on-site, handle the cabling, configure the sound and lighting, and dismantle everything after the event. You receive a fully configured system ready to go.

A technician stays on-site during the event, responds to changes in the schedule, and handles the teardown afterward. The safest option for speeches and presentations.

How much does lighting equipment cost per day?
From €14.90 per day for a spotlight, party lighting from €19.90, and a complete lighting system from €99. All prices include VAT and insurance. Day 1 is charged at the base price, and each additional 24-hour day is 15% of that; a Starburst for three days, for example, costs €38.87.
What lighting equipment do you need for a wedding?
For the room, use ambient lighting to bathe the walls in warm light or match the colors of your decor during dinner. For the dance floor after dinner, use party lighting or a complete lighting system. A pinspot on the cake is a great addition. For a room with 60-100 guests, plan on 6-10 uplights and two to three party lights.
Can you rent lighting equipment for a concert?
For small concerts, band performances, and stages for up to about 500 guests, yes. Spotlights illuminate the band from the front, while retro blinders and moving heads provide the concert look. Festival equipment and large stage structures are not available for rent; the equipment fits into a standard car.
Can you rent lighting and audio equipment together?
Yes, you can book all your event technology from a single source. In addition to lighting, we offer sound systems, PA systems, microphones, and DJ equipment. You can pick everything up at the same location or have it delivered and set up together.
Do you need prior experience to use the lighting equipment?
No. Most spotlights and effects run in automatic mode or sync to the music once plugged in, without the need for a lighting console. When you pick up your equipment, the location staff will show you how to operate it, and many devices also have a video tutorial.
Does lighting equipment work without a power outlet?
Partially. Ambient lights, light tubes, and some spotlights run on batteries, while party lights, light bars, and moving spotlights require power. The catalog indicates which items are battery-operated on their respective pages.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
No. Rentals are deposit-free, and every booking is covered by all-risk insurance. The deductible is a maximum of €250 per product.
How do you find out if lighting equipment is available in your city?
Via the catalog for each category or the location filter at the top of this page. Enter your city and date to see immediately what is available, including pricing. For questions in advance, you can contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp, daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
At a wedding, ambient lighting carries the evening. Uplights bathe the walls in warm light or your decorative colors during dinner. This ambient lighting creates atmosphere, while a pinspot highlights the cake later on. After dinner, it’s time to dance, and that’s when party lighting comes in. For a wedding, you should plan your lighting in two phases: first the mood, then the dance floor.
At a party, dance floor lighting is what counts. In a party basement, one effect light is enough; in a community hall, you’ll want a second unit on the opposite side. For corporate events, the stage is the focus: for stage lighting, two LED spotlights illuminate the lectern and faces, uplights display company colors on the walls, and moving heads are added for the show moment as a mini light show. At trade fairs, spotlights ensure that visitors can see your booth from afar.
The rest of the equipment for the big day, from sound systems to microphones, can be found under Wedding equipment.

Uplights on the walls carry the evening before the dance floor opens. Neon tubes provide indirect light for a relaxed ambiance.
