Renting audio equipment from Renty starts at €9.90 per day, covering everything from microphone stands to sound systems for 500 guests. You can book online and pick up for free, or have the equipment delivered and set up for you. You can see which devices are available for your date in the catalog of the respective category.
Renty rents out event technology in Germany and Austria and has a physical presence at 28 locations. Whether it's a sound system for a garden party, a PA system for a band, or DJ equipment for an evening at the console: everything is included in one booking and can be picked up or delivered together. Cables and accessories are included. Sound systems and party boxes work on a plug-and-play basis: set them up, connect your phone via Bluetooth, and start the music. For PA systems and mixing consoles, a staff member will show you how to connect everything during pickup, and there are additional video tutorials for many devices.
Here you will find everything for your event's sound reinforcement, from compact battery-powered speakers to systems for 500 guests, plus microphones for speeches and moderation. Whether it's a birthday, wedding, or corporate presentation, select the category below that fits your occasion. You will find all available equipment there, along with prices and availability for your date.
Three questions about your guests, location, and program. After that, the guide will direct you to the appropriate section, complete with all equipment and prices.
The categories are organized into four groups. Behind each name is a page with all the equipment, prices, and availability at your location.
A sound system is the complete set for a party in a hall, a PA system is built for bands and stages, and a party box runs on battery power outdoors without a wall outlet. You can find them under sound systems, PA systems, and party boxes, with individual speakers under loudspeakers.
Microphones are needed as soon as someone is speaking or singing, while a separate mixer is only required if there are more sources than the built-in mixer on a column system can handle. Both can be found under microphones and mixing consoles.
A DJ console mixes the music, but it only becomes audible through a sound system. Consoles and players can be found under DJ equipment, and sets for singing along under karaoke systems.
Sound, microphone, and lighting equipment, pre-configured as a single item, can be found under Complete Packages. Stands for speakers, microphones, and projectors can be found under Stands.
Sound equipment starts at € 9.90 per day, the same price as a stand for a microphone or projector. All other equipment prices can be found on the respective category pages; this table only shows the starting prices.
You pick up the equipment from the location in your city and set it up yourself. Everything is prepared for plug-and-play, and there is a video tutorial for every device.

We bring the equipment to your venue and pick it up again after the event. You can handle the connection and setup yourself; every device is prepared for it.

We set up the equipment on-site, handle the cabling, configure the sound and lighting, and dismantle everything after the event. You receive a fully configured system ready to go.

A technician stays on-site during the event, responds to changes in the schedule, and handles the teardown afterward. The safest option for speeches and presentations.

How much does sound equipment cost per day?
Prices start at € 9.90 per day for a stand. A wireless microphone starts at € 19.90, a party speaker at € 39.90, a sound system at € 69.90, and a PA system at € 99. All prices include VAT.
What is the difference between sound technology and event technology?
Event technology is the umbrella term that includes sound, lighting, video, and staging. Sound technology is the part that generates, distributes, or records audio, ranging from sound systems and microphones to DJ consoles. Lighting, spotlights, and effects fall under lighting technology.
How does the sound equipment rental process work?
You enter your city and date, select your equipment, and book online in just a few minutes—no email inquiry required. Afterward, you pick up the equipment for free, receive a briefing, and return it after your event.
For how many days can I book the equipment?
Starting from one day, calculated in 24-hour periods. The first day is charged at the daily rate, and each additional day at 15% of that rate. This means a full week costs less than double the price of a single day.
How do you determine which category is right for me?
That depends on the number of guests, the location, and the program. The guide at the top of this page asks exactly those questions and directs you to the appropriate sound systems, PA systems, or party speakers. Microphones, mixers, and stands are added depending on your specific program.
Can you book sound and lighting together?
Yes, equipment from all categories can be included in the same booking, meaning sound, lighting, and video are handled in a single process. Everything will then be picked up or delivered together.
Does someone deliver and set up the equipment?
Yes, if you wish. You can add our delivery, setup, and teardown service for € 59 per hour or part thereof. If you need someone to stay for the entire evening, a service technician can operate the equipment for you.
Who can help if something isn't working in the evening?
We are available by phone or WhatsApp daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. When you pick up your equipment, a staff member will show you how to connect it, and video tutorials are available for many devices.
Is there a deposit?
No, you do not pay a deposit, and all-risk insurance is included with every booking. In the event of damage, you pay a maximum deductible of €250 per product; a higher deductible applies in the case of theft. You can view the full rental terms before booking.

For sound reinforcement, the number of guests is the primary benchmark, and the purpose of the event is the second. For outdoor events, there are no walls to reflect sound, so plan for a slightly larger setup. The PA calculator determines how much power your space needs, free of charge and without registration. Our range is not designed for events with more than 500 guests.
You can select the equipment for your event online, with prices and availability visible before you book. We are a nationwide provider with 28 locations in Germany and Austria, yet we remain local: every location has a dedicated contact person.
Rentals are available by the day, for an evening, a weekend, or an entire week. Our range is not intended for festivals requiring custom stage construction. Spotlights, lighting, and light effects have their own dedicated section: Lighting Technology.
