Renty provides event technology in Linz for parties, companies, and clubs from our warehouse in Katsdorf, just east of the city. You can pick up your equipment free of charge seven days a week at your booked time. Upon request, Janik can also deliver and set up the equipment anywhere in Upper Austria.
Karaoke package, wedding package, or a DJ set with two CDJ 3000s: everything on this list is ready in Katsdorf. A rental day is 24 hours from pickup, and each additional day costs 15% of the base price.

The warehouse is located at Sonnenhang in Katsdorf, just under 20 kilometers from Linz's main square by car. You set the pickup and return times when booking, even for Sundays or public holidays. Janik will explain every device during the handover. About nine out of ten customers pick up their equipment themselves.
Janik is the primary contact and specialist for DJ equipment for event technology in Linz. He is a DJ himself and has been repairing equipment by hand for years. If the sound is humming or a cable is stuck, he usually knows quickly what the problem is. This expertise helps in consultations, such as when deciding which sound system fits the room and how lighting creates the right atmosphere.
A good half of all rentals begin on a Friday, and the high season runs from June to August. It is worth booking early for these months. To plan your event, you can reach the team daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. via phone or WhatsApp.

You decide during the booking process whether the team should just deliver, also set up, or stay on-site. Each of these services costs €59 per hour or part thereof, with one hour already included in the booking price. Travel time from Katsdorf counts as working time. Collection after the event is included with any delivery.

We deliver to every district in Linz, from the Old Town to Froschberg, Kleinmünchen, and Ebelsberg. Urfahr, north of the Danube, is also included. In the surrounding area, we travel to places like Leonding, Traun, or Ansfelden, and towards the east to Enns. Wels, Steyr, and Gmunden are also within our delivery area, as is the rest of Upper Austria. You will receive a quote in advance for long distances.
For conferences or presentations, we supply companies at their offices, on factory premises, or in seminar rooms. Setup takes place within the venue's time slots, and a technician can remain on-site for speeches or program changes if desired.

The customer picked everything up from the warehouse himself, and Janik went through the details with him during the handover. The sound was intended to come from a laptop.
The customer had never set up a system like this before and was quite intimidated by the operation. With the briefing and the video tutorials for each device, the setup in the garden went off without a hitch.
Pro tip: If you are setting up equipment yourself for the first time, it is best to watch the video tutorials before the day of the event.
Occasion: Corporate event on a boat
Equipment: large sound system, lighting technology, mixing console
The request came in at very short notice and was handled by Janik. However, the event took place far outside of Upper Austria.
Therefore, another location near the venue took care of delivery, setup, and collection. There are 28 locations in total across Germany and Austria, each with a dedicated contact person.
Pro tip: If the venue is far away, ask when booking if a closer location can handle the delivery.
Whether it's a presentation, wedding, or company party, the right technology depends on the size of the room, the acoustics, and the occasion. Large venues like the congress hall at the Design Center have their own equipment, so Renty only supplements what is missing. It is best to clarify what the venue already provides beforehand.
Presentation at the Brucknerhaus
The Small Hall at the Brucknerhaus is designed for presentations and receptions with up to 100 guests. For speeches, two wireless microphones and two speakers on stands are sufficient, as speech intelligibility is more important than volume. If a battery fails, the second microphone takes over. For video technology, our presentation package with a Full HD projector and a 120-inch screen is all you need.
Wedding at the Redoutensäle
The Redoutensäle is a civil wedding venue, and the Redoutensaal can accommodate up to 160 guests at tables. For speeches and dancing, sound systems with two column speakers are sufficient; our Medium sound package is designed exactly for this size. For the first dance, low-lying fog can drift across the dance floor, provided the venue allows it. For souvenir photos, our photo booth with instant printing is a perfect fit.
Company party at the Tabakfabrik
The Tabakfabrik rents out rooms for company parties, and the Klubkantine has space for 200 guests. To ensure speeches are heard clearly and the bass carries later on, you need PA systems with a subwoofer. With lighting effects and a bit of fog, you can turn the evening into a party. For the DJ, Janik has a set ready consisting of two Pioneer CDJ 3000s and a DJM A9.
Birthday in the garden
For a birthday party in the garden, it all comes down to how long your power lasts. The SOUNDBOKS 3 runs on battery for an entire evening, and a power station can supply electricity for lighting and small devices. For a celebration on the main square or along the Danube, you will need a permit from the city. Stricter regulations apply for events with more than 300 visitors.
