Renty rents out speaker stands, microphone stands, and projector stands starting at €9.90 per day, even individually to complement your own equipment. You can book online and pick them up for free, or have the stands delivered and set up for you. You can see which stands are available for your date directly in our catalog.
The right stand depends on what you are putting on top. A speaker stand has three legs and ends in a 35 mm tube that fits into the socket on the bottom of the speaker. Most active speakers have this socket. Where there isn't enough room for three legs, a stand with a cast-iron base plate can be used instead.
The microphone stand has a boom arm that positions the microphone in front of the speaker's mouth, even over a lectern. The projector stand features a tiltable tray for projectors, laptops, or DJ controllers.
The answer depends on three questions: what is going on the stand, where it is being placed, and how many guests are attending. Speakers belong on a speaker stand, microphones on a microphone stand, and projectors and laptops on a projector stand. The number of guests determines how many stands you need.
At weddings, company parties, and anniversaries, music, speeches, and presentations often run through the same equipment. Two speakers are placed on two speaker stands to the left and right so that the sound reaches the back row.
For speeches, a microphone stand is placed at the podium, and for slideshows or presentations, a projector stand is placed opposite the screen. You can also book the stands individually if you are providing your own speakers, microphone, and projector.

Our tripod stands can be unfolded and set up in just a few seconds.
Not every speaker needs a stand. A column speaker sits on its subwoofer, and a party box sits on the floor or a table. A stand is worth it for anything you want at head height that has a mount on the bottom.
You can find the speakers themselves under Speakers, column systems under Sound Systems, and suitable projectors under Projectors. If a band is playing, the stage will need more than two speakers on stands; the systems for that are listed under PA Systems.
The microphone stand and projector stand each cost €9.90 per day, the speaker stand costs €19.90, and the stand with a base plate costs €24.90. Day 1 is charged at the base price, and each additional 24-hour day is 15% of that, meaning the daily rate decreases with the length of the rental.
All prices are gross, include insurance, and do not require a deposit. The prices for lighting stands and the stand system with a crossbar are listed on their respective catalog tiles, and the pricing rule with a calculation example can be found under Prices.
If you pick up the stands on Friday evening and return them on Sunday evening, that counts as two rental days, which would be €22.89 per unit for a speaker stand.
You pick up the equipment from the location in your city and set it up yourself. Everything is prepared for plug-and-play, and there is a video tutorial for every device.

We bring the equipment to your venue and pick it up again after the event. You can handle the connection and setup yourself; every device is prepared for it.

We set up the equipment on-site, handle the cabling, configure the sound and lighting, and dismantle everything after the event. You receive a fully configured system ready to go.

A technician stays on-site during the event, responds to changes in the schedule, and handles the teardown afterward. The safest option for speeches and presentations.

How much does it cost to rent a stand?
The microphone stand and projector stand each cost €9.90 per day, and the speaker stand costs €19.90. These prices are gross and do not include a deposit; each additional 24-hour day costs 15% of the base price.
Will the speaker stand fit my speaker?
Yes, provided your speaker has a 35 mm pole mount on the bottom. This is the common standard for active speakers, and according to the manufacturer, the Soundboks also fits. Column speakers and party boxes usually stand on their own without a stand.
Can you rent a stand without a speaker?
Yes, every stand can be booked individually, even for speakers, microphones, or projectors that you provide yourself. Simply select it in the catalog, set the rental days, and book online.
Does the microphone stand come with a microphone?
No, the microphone stand comes with a boom arm and a clip that holds standard handheld microphones. You book the microphone separately; wired and wireless microphones can be found under Microphones.
How much weight can a speaker stand support?
According to the product specifications, the speaker stand supports up to 40 kg, and the stand with a base plate supports up to 30 kg, in both cases with the weight centered on the pole. This leaves plenty of capacity for a speaker weighing around 20 kg.
How do you find out if a tripod is available in your city?
Enter your city in the catalog above to see only the tripods available near you. Pickup is free, or a service technician can bring the tripods along with the rest of your equipment upon request.
A new tripod costs several times the daily rental fee and usually ends up gathering dust in the basement afterward. Renting makes sense for one or two parties a year, but if you're DJing every weekend, it's better to own your own.
There is also the question of whether the tripod fits the speaker. The speaker stands in our catalog feature the standard 35 mm pole; our staff will show you the clamp and bolt during pickup.
You can book multiple tripods together with speakers, microphones, and projectors in a single order. Everything will then be ready for pickup together or delivered by our service staff.
How high you extend the tripod depends on your guests: if everyone is standing, the speaker needs to be higher than at an event with tables.
The bottom edge of the speaker should be just above head height—higher for a standing party than for a seated dinner.
Place the speakers to the left and right of the area and angle them slightly toward the center so the music reaches the sides as well.
The microphone stand should be placed behind the line of the speakers. If a speaker is pointing at the microphone, you will get feedback.
The projector tripod should be placed in the center in front of the screen; you can calculate the distance for your image size using the projector distance calculator.
The load capacity applies to a weight centered on the pole. If the weight is off-center, such as on a swivel arm, the tripod will tip over more easily.
The height refers to the top edge of the pole, with the speaker sitting on top. If the ceiling is low, don't fully extend the pole.
A tripod rarely tips over on its own. It is usually because it is on uneven ground, only half-extended, or the load is not centered.
Extend the legs fully until they stop and tighten the clamp; if they are only half-extended, the tripod is more likely to tip over.
For speaker stands, a safety pin holds the pole in place alongside the clamp. Insert it before placing the speaker on top.
Mount heavy speakers with two people: one person lifts, the other holds the tripod steady.
The feet will sink into grass, so place the tripod on firm ground. In windy conditions, do not fully extend the pole.
For lighting, we offer tripods with crossbars for multiple spotlights, a crank stand that lifts heavy loads without a ladder, and a system consisting of two tripods with a three-meter-wide crossbar. Price and availability can be found on the respective tile at the top of the catalog.
