Renty rents out stage platforms and DJ risers starting at €59.90 per day, including legs and connectors. Complete stage systems and mobile stages with roofs are also available upon request. You can book online and pick them up for free, or have the stage platforms delivered and set up for you. You can see which stages are available for your date directly in our catalog.
People are usually looking for one of two things. A stage platform is a single component: a sturdy panel in an aluminum frame on legs that raises you one step above the room. A stage, on the other hand, is the result of several platforms firmly connected to each other until the stage area is large enough for the entire performance.
The platforms available for rent come from manufacturers including Stairville and Nivtec. Both are aluminum stage systems whose elements can be connected within a system to create larger areas. A special type is the DJ platform: these stand at table height and support the equipment, not the person.
For an open-air event, there is the mobile stage, a complete unit with floor, roof, and stairs, delivered and set up by our team. Mobile stages and larger stages made of platforms are available upon request, while individual platforms can be booked directly online.
Three questions, and the design is determined. The guide does not suggest a single platform, but rather the type of stage that fits your performance, from a single platform to a mobile stage with a roof. The catalog will then show you which of these are available for your date.
Most often, someone speaking stands on a rented stage: a speech at a company party, a presentation at an anniversary, or hosting at a club event. Even a single platform raises the person enough to be seen from the back rows.
For a DJ, the platform primarily supports the console. A DJ platform at table height brings the controller, mixer, and laptop to working height, while a stage platform underneath raises the entire setup above the guests. You can find the corresponding technology under DJ Equipment.
For a band, platforms are combined into a proper stage, as musicians with amplifiers, drums, and monitor speakers need space. For summer parties, city festivals, festivals, and open-air concerts, the weather is a factor, making the mobile stage with a roof the safe choice. Sound for the back rows is provided by audio equipment such as PA systems.

Even a low stage made of platforms gives DJs and speakers a fixed place in the room.
The size of the stage depends on the number of performers, and the height depends on the audience. As a rule of thumb, stage planners calculate about 2.5 m² per musician with an amplifier and about 6 m² for a drum kit. The table translates this into platforms and stage types, both indoors and outdoors.
Regarding height: For speeches and presentations in a hall, a 40 cm platform is often sufficient. If several hundred guests are in front of the stage, more height helps; from about one meter, the stage requires a railing along the open edges. We do not build festival stages for several thousand visitors, but we do build everything below that, up to an 8 x 6 m open-air stage.
The 2x1 m DJ table stage platform costs €59.90 per day, the 2.5 x 1.5 m stage platform is €69.90, and the 1.5x1 m DJ table stage platform with fabric skirting is €79.90. A rental day consists of a full 24 hours from pickup or delivery, regardless of when your event starts. Day 1 is charged at the base price, and each additional day is 15% of that. The advantage: the price per day decreases with the rental duration. Legs, connectors, and all-risk insurance are included in the rental.
A weekend from Friday to Sunday counts as three rental days; for the 2 x 1 m platform, this is €77.87 instead of three times €59.90. DJ platforms at table height start at €59.90 per day. We will provide the price for a stage made of platforms or a mobile stage in a free quote, as it is determined by size, travel distance, and setup time. For many platforms, the labor for setup and dismantling is a significant part of the cost. Stairs and railings are often charged separately, so please check what is included in every quote. For the mobile stage, delivery, setup, dismantling, and stairs are included. The full pricing policy can be found under Prices.
You pick up the equipment from the location in your city and set it up yourself. Everything is prepared for plug-and-play, and there is a video tutorial for every device.

We bring the equipment to your venue and pick it up again after the event. You can handle the connection and setup yourself; every device is prepared for it.

We set up the equipment on-site, handle the cabling, configure the sound and lighting, and dismantle everything after the event. You receive a fully configured system ready to go.

A technician stays on-site during the event, responds to changes in the schedule, and handles the teardown afterward. The safest option for speeches and presentations.

How much does it cost to rent a stage?
A stage platform starts at €59.90 per day, the 2.5 x 1.5 m platform is €69.90, and the 1.5 x 1 m platform with fabric skirting is €79.90. All prices are gross and include legs, connectors, and insurance. Day 1 is charged at the base price, and each additional 24-hour day is 15% of that. We provide quotes for stages made of multiple platforms or mobile stages upon request.
What is a mobile stage?
A mobile stage is a portable stage delivered as a complete unit. Most mobile stages are trailer stages: the stage trailer is towed to the site, where the floor, roof, and back wall are unfolded, and stage stairs are added. It is designed for open-air events where musicians and equipment need protection from the rain.
How much does it cost to rent a mobile stage?
The price of a mobile stage is determined by its type and size, travel distance, setup time, and the number of rental days, which is why it is available upon request only. Simply send us the date, location, lineup, and ground surface, and we will get back to you with a quote. Delivery, setup, and dismantling by our team are included.
How much does a concert stage cost?
That depends primarily on the surface area. For an indoor concert, a stage made of eight to twelve platforms is often sufficient, while outdoor events require a mobile stage with a roof. We can put both together upon request and provide a price in our quote. You can book individual platforms for speeches or DJs directly online starting at €59.90 per day.
How high is a stage platform?
The 2.5 x 1.5 m stage platform stands 40 cm high, which is sufficient for speeches, moderation, and DJs. DJ platforms are at table height, such as the Nivtec 1 x 0.5 m element on 80 cm legs. With stage systems like Stairville and Nivtec, the legs are interchangeable, so the height depends on the legs used with the platform.
How big is a stage platform?
The standard size is 2 x 1 m, which is 2 m² of surface area. We also offer platforms measuring 2.5 x 1.5 m, 1.5 x 1 m, and 1 x 0.5 m for rent. For a larger stage, multiple platforms are connected side-by-side; for example, eight 2 x 1 m platforms create a 4 x 4 m stage.
How much weight can a stage platform hold?
For the Stairville and Nivtec platforms in our rental fleet, the manufacturers specify a load capacity of 750 kg per m², evenly distributed. A 2 x 1 m platform can therefore easily support people, amplifiers, and drums. A firm, level surface is important; on grass, load-distributing pads must be placed under the legs.
Will a stage platform fit in my car?
That depends on the platform. A 2 x 1 m platform panel is two meters long and fits in a van, a transporter, on a trailer, or in a large station wagon with the back seats folded down. The 2.5 x 1.5 m stage platform requires a van or trailer, while the small 1 x 0.5 m element fits in any car. If you don't want to transport them yourself, you can have the platforms delivered and set up for you.
How long does it take to set up a stage?
A single platform takes about ten minutes to set up; it's fastest with two people. A stage made of multiple platforms takes longer because each element must be aligned and connected to the next. Our team sets up and dismantles mobile stages before and after the event; we will plan the setup and dismantling time with you during the inquiry process.
How do you find out if a platform is available on your date?
Use the catalog at the top of this page. Enter your city and date to see immediately which rental platforms are available during that period, along with their prices. For a stage made of multiple platforms or a mobile stage, please send an inquiry via the form. You can clarify any questions in advance by phone or WhatsApp, daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
For a one-off event, renting a stage is almost always cheaper than buying one, as you don't need to worry about storage or transport. We offer three types for rent: individual stage platforms for speeches and DJs, modular stages made of multiple platforms for indoor bands, and mobile stages with roofs for open-air events.
You can book a small stage for moderation or presentations online, while medium-sized stages for bands and large open-air stages are available upon request. The area calculator on this page will help you determine what size stage you need.
Companies, clubs, and private individuals book event stages for corporate events, weddings, club festivals, roadshows, or public rallies in the town square. For smaller town festivals, concerts, and events, mobile stages—often trailer stages—are typically used: the floor, roof, and back wall are mounted on a trailer and unfolded on-site. You don't need a towing vehicle for this; our team handles delivery and setup.
The catalog shows which platforms are available near you as soon as you enter your city. Pickup is free of charge; delivery and setup cost €59 per hour or part thereof. We plan stages made of individual platforms and mobile stages based on your request, including travel, setup time, and dismantling time.
The boundaries are part of it. Platforms can hold a lot of weight but require firm ground. Outdoors, all equipment needs a roof, including sound and lighting, and the higher a stage is, the more likely it is to need stage stairs and railings. We clarify many of these details in a free quote before you book. You receive the platforms without a deposit, and all-risk insurance is included.
A stage platform primarily requires firm, level ground where all legs can stand evenly. Therefore, clarify the ground conditions before booking. Where the stage will be located during the event determines the need for pads, height, and weather protection.
On parquet, tile, or gym floors, every platform can be set up without preparation. Place the stage at the front of the room facing the audience and leave some space in front so that no one is standing right at the edge.
For outdoor use, such as at a street festival or a rally in a town square, a firm surface like pavement, asphalt, or compacted gravel is ideal. Minor unevenness can be compensated for with height-adjustable legs. After rain, wipe the surface dry before stepping onto it.
On soft ground, the legs will sink in, and the stage will be uneven. Every leg needs a load-distributing pad. After heavy rain, grass is often too soft, making a paved area the better choice.
Under a party tent or pavilion, the stage is protected, but the ground underneath must still be firm. Ensure there is enough clearance between the stage and the roof so that no one hits their head or instrument.
The table shows the rental stage platforms with their dimensions, height, and the load capacity specified by the manufacturer. With platforms, height is key: stage systems like Stairville and Nivtec separate the panel and the legs, which is why stage platforms often have variable heights depending on which legs are used.
750 kg per m² means that 1,500 kg can be evenly distributed on a 2 x 1 m platform. This is plenty for musicians, amplifiers, and a drum kit, with a large safety margin. According to the manufacturer, the panel of a 2 x 1 m Stairville platform weighs about 33 kg, making it easy to carry with two people.
The larger and higher the stage, the more important railings, stairs, and a stable base become. From a stage height of about one meter, you need fall protection on the open edges—sometimes even sooner, depending on the country and venue. The DJ platforms at table height are intended for equipment, not for standing on.
A single platform can be set up in about ten minutes without special tools. For a stage made of multiple platforms, the order of assembly is important to ensure a level surface without gaps or steps at the end.
The surface must be firm and level. On grass, use load-distributing pads under the legs; on pavement, it is sufficient to avoid loose stones and manhole covers.
Insert the legs into the mounts and secure them, then flip the platform over and set it up. Having someone help you makes this faster, as the panel is bulky.
For larger stages, the platforms are connected to each other at the frame to ensure nothing shifts. Only platforms from the same system and all at the same height should be connected.
Dismantling is done in reverse order: release connectors, lift off platforms, remove legs. If you opt for our delivery and assembly service, the same team will handle the dismantling after the event; for mobile stages, assembly and dismantling are always included.
The advantage of platforms: almost any stage size can be assembled from the same 2 x 1 m elements. Two platforms side-by-side create 4 x 1 m, placed one behind the other they make 2 x 2 m, and eight platforms create a 4 x 4 m stage. The space calculator shows how many platforms your lineup needs and how they should be arranged.
The calculation is a guideline. Monitor speakers, keyboard stands, or a lectern require additional space, and a strip should be kept clear at the front so no one stands too close to the edge. We can assemble a larger stage from platforms upon request, deliver it, and set it up. If it is higher than about one meter, a railing is required on the open sides; we will also clarify this during the inquiry process.
Renting a mobile stage works like this: you describe the lineup, location, ground surface, and date; we check access and setup space and send you a quote. Delivery, assembly, and dismantling are handled by our team of professionals, and stairs are included—you don't need your own transport vehicle or staff. Sound and lighting can be added as a separate booking; you can get sound equipment like PA systems and spotlights from our lighting technology range all from a single source. Plan your stage for your event early, as delivery and setup need to be coordinated in advance.
The compact stage (approx. 5 x 2.5 m) is suitable for moderation, DJs, or duos; the medium stage (approx. 5 x 4 m) works for a band with a drum kit; and the large open-air stage (approx. 8 x 6 m) is perfect for city festivals, concerts, and multiple acts for up to 500 guests. Large festivals with several thousand visitors require a festival stage, which we do not provide. These require specialized planning, inspections, and multi-day staffing, which are better handled by a dedicated stage construction company.
Permits are a topic in their own right. Whether one is necessary depends on the location and the size of the stage. In Germany, mobile stages are considered temporary structures; larger ones require an operating permit with a logbook. For events on public property, the local municipality usually requires its own permit and specifies the applicable regulations. You can find out what this entails in our guide to permits for street fairs. Roofs and back walls catch wind like a sail, which is why the weather forecast is a key part of planning for open-air events.
