How long the battery lasts

Capacity in watt-hours divided by power consumption in watts equals the runtime in hours. Because the inverter converts some of the energy, about 435 of the 512 watt-hours actually reach your devices.

Where the limit lies

500 watts of continuous power is the hard limit, and three types of devices typically fail here in practice. Fog machines draw many times their continuous power rating when heating up and are the most common mistake. Active subwoofers briefly require more in the bass range than the reserve can handle. And anything with a heating element—such as space heaters, electric kettles, or coffee machines—is already above this limit. For such setups, you need a power station with an output of at least 1,800 watts; you can find a selection in our mobile power supply section.
