The rental shop is located on Brüsseler Straße in the heart of the Belgian Quarter. Pick-up and return are available daily at your booked time, with most rentals starting on Friday or Saturday. You will receive a demonstration of each device during handover. About eight out of ten customers choose to pick up their equipment themselves.
Christian is your personal contact at this location and has many years of experience in the rental business. He knows the Cologne event scene inside out and tests brand-name equipment like HK Audio before every rental to minimize the risk of failure. Wireless microphones are the most frequently booked audio equipment here.
During the consultation, Christian will determine how much sound the room requires, which lighting equipment is suitable, and how many microphones your event needs. The team’s familiarity with many venues in Cologne, including their access routes and specific requirements, is a great help during the planning phase. Christian and his team are available daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. via phone or WhatsApp, even for emergencies during your event.

Instead of picking it up yourself, you can book delivery, setup, and teardown, or on-site support as an additional service. The team charges €59 per hour or part thereof, with one hour already included in the booking price. Pickup after the event is included with delivery. With on-site support, a technician stays until the final program item.

From the Belgian Quarter, we deliver to all districts, from the Old Town to the South District. Just beyond that are Ehrenfeld, Nippes, and Lindenthal, and across the Rhine, we head to Deutz or Kalk. In the surrounding area, we deliver to Hürth, Frechen, or Bergisch Gladbach. In the Rhineland, Leverkusen and Bonn are also part of our delivery area. Travel time counts as working time; we clarify longer distances in advance.
A good four out of ten bookings come from companies or clubs, with the rest from private customers. We also provide event technology in Cologne for company parties and conferences, delivered to your office, company premises, or seminar room. With setup and support, you receive the equipment as a full service, while event planning remains in your hands.
Occasion: Company Christmas party and anniversary celebration

For the party, the company cleared out a large gaming center. They wanted high-quality sound for the entire hall and didn't want to worry about the logistics themselves.
Christian coordinated the setup and teardown over the phone, advising them on the best placement for the speakers. The company provided their own DJ booth, while our team supplied the sound equipment.

Occasion: New Year's Eve party in a hall
Equipment: Largest sound package with all extras, self-pickup
The customer wanted to pick up and set up the largest sound package himself, even though it is a demanding task. Shortly before midnight, the system in his hall wasn't working, so he called Christian.
Christian had a taxi sent for him and headed over. He explained everything on-site and was back on his way in less than 35 minutes.

An old building in the Belgian Quarter requires different equipment than an industrial warehouse or a hall in the countryside. The gear you need depends on the size and type of your event.
Lectures and Panels
On a panel, each speaker uses their own wireless microphone, and a small mixer balances the volume. In a seminar room without built-in equipment, you may also need video technology like projectors and screens for presentations. Conference centers like KOMED in the MediaPark have their own equipment, such as a screen in the main hall. Anything missing there can be supplemented with conference technology.
Wedding at the Flora
The registry office also performs ceremonies at the Flora in the Botanical Garden. For speeches and dancing, one of our sound systems with two columns, such as the Medium sound package, is a perfect fit. For the first dance, a low-lying fog machine can create a layer of fog across the dance floor, provided the venue allows it. You can also pick up a photo booth for your guests at the same location, with options for instant printing or digital delivery.
Corporate Party in a Warehouse
In large spaces like the Halle Tor 2, a former industrial warehouse, the dance floor needs powerful bass. The HK Audio PA system with two 15-inch subwoofers is designed for up to 300 people. For DJ equipment, the Pioneer XDJ-AZ works without a laptop and has a built-in mixer.
