About us

We are Renty

Renty was founded in 2022 in Graz by André, Jakob, and Simon. As DJs and event organizers, they knew the problem from their own experience: renting equipment meant sending inquiries, waiting, and paying deposits. Show moreToday, Renty is an event technology rental company with 28 locations across Germany and Austria, equipping several thousand events every year. Selection, pricing, and booking are handled entirely online. Your local contact is a real person in your city, not a hotline.

We want to make the rental process as simple as possible, removing hurdles like security deposits or complicated procedures so that accessing professional equipment is as easy as online shopping.

We do this because we know that, in the end, it’s not just about the technology—it’s about events that leave a lasting impression. We want to give you the confidence to focus entirely on your guests and the moment by taking the risk off your shoulders through our service, our easy-to-use event technology, and included insurance.

Services

Self-pickup or delivery with setup

Self-pickup

You pick up the equipment from the location in your city and set it up yourself. Everything is prepared for plug-and-play, and there is a video tutorial for every device.

Delivery and pickup

We bring the equipment to your venue and pick it up again after the event. You can handle the connection and setup yourself; every device is prepared for it.

Setup and teardown

We set up the equipment on-site, handle the cabling, configure the sound and lighting, and dismantle everything after the event. You receive a fully configured system ready to go.

Event support

A technician stays on-site during the event, responds to changes in the schedule, and handles the teardown afterward. The safest option for speeches and presentations.

Pricing and rental duration

Day 1 costs the base price, and each additional 24-hour day costs 15 percent of that. The longer the rental period, the cheaper each individual day becomes.

Exceptions apply to LED walls; their tiered pricing can be found on the LED wall page. There are no surcharges for weekends or public holidays. All prices include VAT, and all-risk insurance is included. Delivery and setup are available as additional services, while self-pickup is free of charge.

A rental day covers up to 24 hours; returning items early does not reduce the price. All rules and examples can be found in the price overview.
