✓ 288 Wh and 300 W continuous power ✓ Compact and only 3.75 kg ✓ No deposit required ✓ Ideal for camping and picnics
The Jackery Explorer 300 Plus delivers 288 watt-hours from a LiFePO4 battery and provides up to 300 watts of continuous power via a Schuko socket, with a peak of up to 600 watts. This allows a battery-powered speaker to run for about 2.5 hours or a projector for a good 50 minutes, without a generator and without engine noise.
Capacity in watt-hours divided by power consumption in watts equals runtime in hours. Because the inverter consumes some of the energy, about 245 of the 288 watt-hours are actually available to your devices.
| Connected | Output | Runtime |
|---|---|---|
| Laptop and router at a trade fair booth | 60 W | approx. 4 h |
| Battery-powered speaker, background music | 100 W | approx. 2.5 h |
| Two speakers with mixing console | 150 W | approx. 1.5 h |
| LED light set on a tripod, four spotlights | 200 W | approx. 75 min |
| Projector for an outdoor cinema | 300 W | approx. 50 min |

300 watts of continuous power is the hard limit, and three types of devices typically fail to run on it. Fog machines draw many times their continuous power rating while heating up and are the most common mistake. Active subwoofers briefly require more in the bass range than the reserve can handle. And anything with a heating element—such as space heaters, kettles, or coffee machines—exceeds this limit anyway. Short power spikes of up to 600 watts are covered by the inverter's reserve. For such setups, you need a power station with an output of at least 1,800 watts; you can find our selection under mobile power supplies.

How long will a sound system run on the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus?
A battery-powered speaker with about 100 watts will run for approximately 2.5 hours, while two speakers with a mixing console will last about 1.5 hours. This is calculated based on a 288 watt-hour capacity and about 85 percent usable energy, as the inverter consumes a portion of the power.
How long it lasts in a specific case depends primarily on the volume. A system used for background music draws significantly less power than the same system on a crowded dance floor.
How much does the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus cost for a weekend?
Two days cost 86.14 euros, three days 97.37 euros. The first day costs 74.90 euros, and each additional 24-hour day is 11.24 euros.
The daily rate decreases with every night; for seven days, it comes to about 20 euros. All prices include VAT, no deposit, and all-risk insurance.
Which devices can I connect and which ones can't I?
Everything up to 300 watts of continuous power runs without issues via the single Schuko socket: sound systems, LED lighting, projectors, laptops, coolers, and routers. Short power spikes of up to 600 watts are covered by the reserve.
The power station is not suitable for fog machines, active subwoofers, or anything with a heating element, such as space heaters, kettles, or coffee machines. These require a device with at least 1,800 watts of output power.
How fast does the power station recharge?
The Jackery Explorer 300 Plus charges from zero to one hundred percent in about 120 minutes when plugged into a standard wall outlet.
Charging while in operation is possible. It continues to supply power while doing so.
How heavy is the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus and will it fit in my car?
The Jackery Explorer 300 Plus weighs 3.8 kilograms and measures 231 x 155 x 168 millimeters. One person can carry it with ease.
It fits upright in any station wagon or trunk. When transporting it in a car, do not lay it on its side; stand it upright and secure it against sliding.
Do I need technical knowledge to operate it?
No. You turn the device on, plug in your equipment, and get started. There is nothing more to do, and no instruction is needed.
It makes sense to do one calculation in advance: add up the wattage of all devices you want to run simultaneously and check if the total remains under 300 watts. You can find how long the battery will last in the table above.
